Almosta Farm is the dream Rick and Mollie brought to life. It began as a simple wish to build something with their own hands, on their own ground, and to feed the neighbors around them. Today the farm grows fresh vegetables, cut flowers, garden plants and eggs for families across Saratoga County.

Finding Home in Gansevoort

When Rick and Mollie first set eyes on the land at 201 Gansevoort Road, they knew it was the right place to plant roots. Surrounded by rolling fields and a tight-knit community, the farm has become a familiar stop for anyone after something fresh. Whether you visit on a whim or come by every week, what is ready changes with the season.

What We Grow

Two sides to the operation: a greenhouse full of plant starts, herbs and hanging baskets in spring, and a working farm that grows vegetables and cut flowers through the summer. A small flock keeps us in eggs. Everything on the stand was grown here and picked in season, not trucked in from storage.

Come Visit Us

The self-serve farm stand at 201 Gansevoort Rd is open daily, dawn to dusk. Take what looks good and leave your payment in the box — the honor system, the way it has always worked here. You will also find us every Saturday at the Glens Falls Farmers’ Market, at The Market & Event Center on South Street, 8am–Noon (9am–Noon from November through April). If you would rather reserve ahead, browse our farm shop and pay when you pick up at the farm.
