Our Story
Almosta Farm is the dream Rick and Mollie brought to life — a place to build something with their hands, on their own ground.
They chose 201 Gansevoort Road for its rolling fields and the tight-knit stretch of Saratoga County around it — close enough to town that neighbors could stop in, quiet enough to actually farm.
Nourishing Our Neighbors With Fresh Local Goodness.
What grows here is chosen the same way — for flavor, and for how it does in our short northern season. The result is food we're glad to hand across the table and flowers we'd put on our own porch.
Most days you'll find us in the field rather than behind the stand — which is why the farmstand runs on the honor system, and why Saturday mornings at the Glens Falls market are our favorite part of the week.

How We Grow
Nothing complicated. Grow good varieties, look after the ground they're in, and pick things at the right moment.
Everything starts in our own beds and greenhouse on Gansevoort Road — not bought in and resold.
We grow cut flowers right alongside the vegetables — good for the field, and good for your porch.

Around The Farm
